Invest in a Great Bag Part Deux

I wasn't going to post anything today, but then I happened upon Shana's list of Gap finds. And then I fell in love with this tote bag. After the post about investing in a great bag, I received a lot of questions about my leather tote. Mine, a gift, was purchased at Banana Republic about two years ago, and they haven't offered anything similar since. I've been on the lookout, and this one from Gap is the first I've seen that has the cross body strap, the slightly textured leather, and a price that could be considered in the budget range.

It doesn't come in camel, but there is a basic black (it's gorgeous) and a multitude of other colors to choose from. If you order today with the code GAPMORE, you can get an additional 30% off the already low price of $98! If you wait until tomorrow, the code will still work for 25% off.

Have a great Tuesday!

  1. I agree. A good bag can transform the most plain jane of outfits. I was gifted with a beautiful leather bag from J.Crew by my husband. Stop my beating heart. I can't go anywhere without it. Love it. Furthermore, it's just classy. Plain and simple. It's going to be my bag for years.

  4. Mary, I think the bag is sold out now!! Gap now has 40% off everything, and I was going to call my mom and suggest an early birthday present (in blue no less!) but...it looks like it's gone! I'm crying crocodile tears right now...
