What I'm Reading Wednesday

Are all of you out there familiar with Jessica's What We're Reading Wednesdays? If not, please head over and check it out. Reading is one of the great loves of my life, and one of my quandaries with blogging is that said activity cuts into reading time. So today, despite the fact that  many, many people are coming to my house this weekend (starting tomorrow at noon), I'm sitting here, reading.

Currently on the docket are Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas, and How to Look Hot in a Minivan by Janice Min. You don't have to say it, I'm a true renaissance woman, I know. I haven't finished either oeuvre - so I'll withhold any premature stamps of approval, but both are easy reading.

What are you reading?

  1. Solution for Said Quandary: Audible! My husband started subscribing to it for his 45 min (one way) commute, and we are huge fans. Its an amazing way to stay on top of your reading list!
I am currently listening to A Severe Mercy (for the 5th time I've read it in the last 5 years)... Breakfast at Tiffany's (an annual Spring read) and waiting to get into The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri

  2. A renaissance woman you are! Looking forward to hearing your take on How to Look Hot in a Minivan (particularly the infamous Hollywood C-section/tummy tuck) I always enjoy your perspective. :)

  3. Oh my gosh, DYING at that last title. I've got the minivan so what's next?! I'm about to dive into Ender's Games for book club so I'll share if it's good (and I've heard that it is so I'm eager to get started).

  4. I look forward to hearing your opinion on both! The minivan one looks good to me, but maybe that's because it's pink? I had to click on the link, because I first assumed it was fiction. It does sound like the title of a fun romantic novel!

    1. I picked up How to Look Hot In A Minivan from the library on a whim about a year ago . . . something about that pink cover!

  5. LOL about the minivan title! I have always SWORN I will NEVER get a minivan, but I saw some a commercial for some minivan (maybe the Honda Odyssey?) that had a built in vacuum. I now am almost literally drooling over a minivan. I just don't care anymore. I want one.
